Level 1 Clinic Announcement – Stone Moves, Houston, TX – December 2010
We are excited to announce one additional clinic for 2010 before the end of the year. Stone Moves in Houston, Texas will be hosting a USAC Routesetting Clinic on December 18th and 19th, 2010. John Muse, owner of the gym and most recently, Chief Routesetter of the Citizens Competition held at the Vail Boulder World Cup, will be instructing this clinic along with Chris Danielson, Chair of the Routesetting Committee and Chief US Setter of the 2010 IFSC Boulder WC. This is a great opportunity for routesetters to work
with two instructors and a group of other setters, to improve their fundamental routesetting skills and gain a strong introduction into competition routesetting.
This clinic is two full days and the cost is $100.00. A $39 USAC Routesetter Annual Membership is also mandatory, and if you are not already a member, you may also purchase the membership online while registering. Successful participants in the clinic will receive Level 1 Certification, to set for local USAC competitions.
Participation is capped at 20 and anyone with 6 months or more experience as a routesetter who can work V1 or 5.10 can join the clinic. Please register directly for the clinic here. Through the registration process you will be provided with a routesetter profile form which you can complete and send to jmuse@stonemoves.com
Please contact Chris Danielson directly at cdanielson@gthi.com with any questions about the clinic.
