In 1995 Chris began his career as a setter at the Miami Universty of Ohio climbing wall. He went on to set at numerous competitions in dozens of gyms across the country. Chris developed his setting skills through years of practice assisting at high level competitions like the Teva Games, ABS Nationals, and the legendary PCA.

Chris most recently has been Chief Setter for the 2006 SLC Sendfest and 2007 ABS Nationals. He is also a consultant with THREAD climbing wall consultants and is working to further the growth and professionalism of commercial and competition routesetting at his numerous clinics throughout the country.
