The primary goal of the Internship program is to give more route setters the opportunity to work at the highest level events to gain experience. Route setters must have completed a USAC Level 2 Clinic in order to apply. Those route setters who may not have received an endorsement from a Level 2 Clinic, but would like to demonstrate their experience and gain that endorsement may also apply. If selected and completing a successful Divisional Internship, a Level 2 Endorsement in Youth Bouldering will be applied.

National Chief Setter John Muse, is looking for six setters to make the upcoming Youth ABS 13 Nationals spectacular.  Three assistants, one apprentice, and two interns will be chosen.  All applicants should be able to climb V8 comfortably and work the moves of V10.  No egos will be accepted, and all applicants should be willing to work harder than they ever have before.  Seeing Nationally ranked youth competitors climb routes YOU have set is worth all the hard work!

The competition will take place on March 2 - 4, 2012.  The chosen crew will be expected to arrive Sunday, February 26th and stay until the competition is over on Sunday, March 4th, 2012  To apply, fill out your application and submit it to jmuse@stonemoves.com.  Applications are due by Dec. 1, 2011

This is a great opportunity to start your career as a pro setter and to set for some of the strongest competitors in the country.

All applicants must have a Level 2 or higher USAC route setter certification and be able to work a minimum of V8 boulder problems.  Applications must be in by Aug. 26th. 2011

Setting will start on Sept. 19th and go to the 25th.

All applicants must have a Level 2 certification, but a Sport Youth endorsement is NOT necessary.  Only Divisions that have a Level 4 Chief will be accepting Intern applications. Please see below for specific details and applications.
