USAC Level 1 Routesetting Clinic – Central Rock

UPDATE – Level 1 Clinic on September 14th/15th, 2011 – HOST GYM LOCATION CHANGED.

There is a currently scheduled Level 1 clinic in the Northeast next month, originally published as being held at Carabiners in Fairfield, CT.  The clinic dates have not changed but the clinic will now be held at Central Rock Gym in Hadley, MA.  If you have already registered for the clinic, all of the information regarding the clinic is the same, except for the location, which is less than two hours from the originally planned location.  If for any reason you have registered but cannot attend, or have any questions at all – please contact the Instructor directly, Chris Danielson at cdanielson@gthi.com or 585.750.5062.”

We are excited to announce that Central Rock in Hadley, MA will be host to a Level 1 Clinic, September 14th and 15th, 2011.  Chris Danielson, Chair of the Routesetting Committee and Chief US Setter of the 2011 IFSC Boulder WC, will be Stendra Online instructing the clinic. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in improving their overall setting, learning fundamental skill sets for competition routesetting, and taking the first step towards advancing as a USAC competition routesetter.

This clinic is two full days and the cost is $100.00. A $55 USAC Routesetter Annual Membership is also mandatory, and if you are not already a member, you may also purchase the membership online while registering. Successful participants in the clinic will receive Level 1 Certification, to set for local USAC competitions.

Participation is capped at 20 and anyone with 6 months or more experience as a Routesetter who can work V3 or 5.10 can join the clinic.
